What is Taizé?

Check out their Web site at: http://www.taize.fr/
Taizé Service -- Second Wednesday of the Month, 7:30 pm, in the North Sanctuary The Taizé experience offers worshippers an opportunity to reclaim their calm, sure focus on God's presence in their lives. Taizé started in France as a youth movement after the second World War, as a way to bring hope and peace to a discouraged generation. Today, Taizé has spread throughout the world, bringing its message of healing to an ever-growing number of participants.

Area musicians who would like to participate in a Taizé service are invited to contact Taizé music coordinator Janice Cook at 848-3360 or jbakercook@aol.com.

The Worthington United Methodist Church has a continually on-going prayer chain for those who need prayer or wish to have prayers said for them.

The Prayer Ministry group also has a bible study every week. Together we read and study the scripture(s) that our ministers use their sermons. It helps us to understand the scriptures and to more throughly appreciate the lessons in the sermons.

Our Prayer Ministry always welcomes prayer requests and new colleagues. Please contact our church office if you wish to get in touch with us.
