** Save the Date for
Vacation Bible School - July 26 - 30 **

Join us for Galactic Blast as we head out to space to praise God. We'll learn about space and gain a new perspective on our planet Earth. We'll also learn easy "green" earth tips that we can practice at home. Through a combination of faith and fun we'll help our children develop a relationship with God through Jesus Christ. We'll be blasting off on Monday evening, July 26, through Friday evening, July 30. More information will be available in the coming weeks. If you'd like to volunteer, contact Heather Moyers (
heather@worthingtonumc.org), Katie Leggett (

Joyful Family Fun Day
Sunday, March 28, 4:00 to 6:00 pm
"The Prayer Journey"
Come and enjoy our prayer journey with activities for all ages and Easter egg hunt, followed by dinner for the entire family. We will have prayer stations for children to learn more about prayer through different types of prayer, crafts, books and more as we take a prayer journey. A prayer path will be set up for the adults to journey through as we enter Holy Week. The prayer path may be walked with a booklet or a personal CD player (we provide) with CD to direct you through each prayer station. All are welcome to come and enjoy this fun event for all ages. Donations will be taken to cover the cost of the dinner.
Youth Bread Making Fundraiser
Once again our Youth will bake homemade bread for you and your family! Enjoy white, wheat, and cinnamon raisin bread, and help our youth raise funds for Work Camp, Church Camp, and other Retreats. Please check it out and buy some tasty, homemade bread in the Commons on Sunday, March 7. Cost is $5.00 for white and wheat loaves and $6.00 for cinnamon raisin.
